Because Stone Strong is a gravity block system, no tiebacks, geo grid reinforcement, or additional mechanics are required for installations up to 9 feet in height. The blocks themselves are hollow, then filled with gravel. This allows for higher installations — up to 40 feet with proper engineering — as well as natural drainage to prevent water damage or failure because of heavy, saturated backfill.
