Owell elevates walls-and value-of development

"Curb appeal" may be what real estate agents refer to when describing an attractive neighborhood. But Lane Myers Construction is just as happy to call it "wall appeal." Surrounding a new development of 42 homes, the precast wall constructed by Owell is nearly a mile long-and has a lengthy list of compliments to match.

Comparing the aesthetics to pricey communities in Palm Springs and other areas, developer Lane Myers comments that the ashlar slate wall "makes a statement." The company had completed home sites in the past using vinyl fencing, but recognizes the value and beauty Owell has added. "These walls give this community a higher-end feel," says Myers. "There is a greater feeling of value compared to otherwise similar homes nearby."

Owell's service proved attractive to Myers as well. The near 5,000-foot installation was completed in less than two weeks.
